it has been a long time,well it is 3.43am in the morning and i cannot sleep.

I hate nights where I feel incredibly tired , but strange random thoughts

just decides to break my concentration to sleep.

Gah. Sometimes i wonder if i am cut out to work in design,well i do like it

but not absolutely love it. Maybe sometimes i feel so tired thinking of why

Ten things to be remembered & to be thankful for.

1-Sitting in a lawn chair, drinking a cold cup of vietnamese coffee, looking at a whole blanket of stars in the sky with fireflies hovering around.

2-Rooftop bar in Berlin, ice cold beer. dressed in an over sized sleep shirt and flip flops, overlooking the city. With car horns far away.

3-First chappati I ate made by ahma, right after touching down in Chennai.

4-First kiss on the roof, complete with beer , a movie, clear skies and plenty of stars

5-Walking around Sheffield with Shu Shu. With 4 degree weather, and grocery shopping in sainsbury and talks about meow meow.

6-Alton towers, complete with mega roller coasters, and the feeling we get dropping 5 stories.

7-Christmas eve. With broken english, a big candle lit lamp. smoking in the room. Expensive bottle of red wine. Waking up to the perfect christmas present.

8-Long river cruise along the mekong river, complete with unruly hair, heavy backpacks, sun shades and 4 cans of ice cold 333 beer. With 2 awesome friends, watching the sun go down in the horizon.

9-Coming back home early to surprise a loved one, planning the surprise 2 weeks in advance enduring 5 hours of coach, and 14 hours of flight time. With 10 hours of waiting in total. Seeing her reaction. Totally effing worth it.

10-Days where meow meow was the only reason i enjoyed staying at home.

well there are of course plenty of other things worth remembering.

but ill only come up with 10.

it has been a whirlwind tour so far.

As most of you have already known i have been

out of the country for 2 weeks here and there

London

Scotland

Loughborough

The trip's been kind to me so far

other then the very expensive food prices

and very tempting insane shopping trips that i put myself through.

To scrambled eggs/bacon/sausages/beans/tomatoes for breakfast every single morning

To Hot-water less shower in the cold English Air

45 minutes walk to our design studio

the 5 pound bowl of noodles

the not-be-able to drink water from the tap direct

to the very dreadful weekend spent in hall.

I have come to realise i miss home more than ever

To people whom i have said Singapore is a boring place

I SO TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID

to Loughborough Singapore seems as though she's the most exciting place to be in.

The classmates have been wonderful as always

Ive heard several ( YOUVE been having so much fun you won't want to come back)

well truth is, all i want to do is go home, curl up in my bed, hear the dripping noises

of the water leaking from my aircon hitting the pails. Be able to go down and cook myself a big bowl of hot noodles, and watch channel 5.

Well I am long away from getting home.
